Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 large ripe bananas
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine sugar and melted shortening in bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in mashed bananas.
Fold in flour and pecans; do not beat.
Spoon into greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool.
Wrap in plastic wrap or foil overnight before serving.
