Holiday Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 c. cranberry juice cocktail
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water in a saucepan; stir over heat until sugar dissolves.
    Bring to boiling point; let boil, without stirring, for about 7 minutes.
    Cool; add fruit juices.
    When ready to serve, pour over ice; add ginger ale.
    Garnish with mint sprigs.
    Serves 25.
