Meatballs With Mushroom Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion
    2 eggs
    8 to 10 saltine crackers
    2 cans mushroom soup
    1 small can sliced mushrooms (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix ground chuck, onion, eggs, salt, pepper and crackers.
    Mix well.
    Shape into balls.
    (Slightly flatten for quicker cooking time.)
    Brown in skillet with lid (electric skillet works best) until both sides are brown.
    Fill skillet 1/2 with water and let simmer 30 minutes.
    Add mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms. Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
