Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 rounded c. raisins with enough water to cover
    2 Tbsp. heaping flour
    1 c. whole cream
    2 egg yolks (save whites for topping, if desired)
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Stew 1 rounded cup raisins until tender in just enough water to cover, then add 1 cup sugar.
    Mix 1 heaping tablespoonful flour and 1 cup whipping cream together thoroughly.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Do not burn.
    Add egg yolks; stir and cook until mixture thickens.
    Put in baked crust and frost with beaten egg whites, if desired.
