Peach Kuchen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups sifted flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
12 peach halves
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 egg yolks
1 cup heavy cream
Preparation

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
With a pastry blender, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
Press the flour mixture over the bottom and up the sides of a buttered 10 inch round pan.
Places the peaches, cut side up, over the pastry.
Combine the brown sugar sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peach halves.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Mix the egg yolks and cream.
Pour over the peaches and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until brown.

Serve warm or cool.
