Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. mashed, ripe bananas (3 to 4 medium bananas)
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Line bottom of 3 (9-inch) cake pans with waxed paper.
Sift together flour and soda.
Cream Crisco thoroughly, adding sugar gradually, until light and fluffy.
Add 2 tablespoons milk and then eggs.
Add dry ingredients and remaining milk alternately, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Fold mashed bananas into batter.
Pour into cake pans and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
