Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
juice of one lemon
2 tbsp. gelatin (knox gelatin)
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup grated cheese
2 tbsp. pimento
1 large container of cool whip
Preparation

Heat pineapple and juice with lemon juice and sugar.
Stir until dissolved.
Soak gelatin in cold water and add to heated mixture.
Pour into 9 inch by 12 inch casserole dish and put in refrigerator.
When it begins to congeal, add cheese, pimento, and cool whip.
Stir and put back in refrigerator.
Let chill overnight.
Makes 15 generous servings.
