Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation
    Bring sugar, cream of tartar and water to a boil, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add maple flavoring.
