Yellow Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. egg whites
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. cake flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    5 egg yolks
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Beat
    egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff, then add 1/2 cup sugar, beat in egg white mixture.
    In another bowl take 1 cup sugar, flour and baking powder, then add egg yolks, water and oil;
    beat
    until
    thick.
    Fold in egg whites and 1 teaspoon vanilla or lemon flavoring.
    Turn into ungreased 13 x 9 1/4-inch pan for 25 to 35 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
