Maple Glazed Acorn Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 small acorn squash
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 c. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Halve squash and remove seeds and fiber.
Place in a shallow baking pan, cut side down.
Add 1/2-inch water to the pan and bake 30 minutes.
Remove squash from the pan, discarding water.
Trim a small slice from the bottom of each squash so that it will sit straight in the pan.
Combine remaining ingredients and spoon into squash centers.
Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes, basting frequently.
Good with pork or poultry.
Serves 6.
