Grandma Holiman'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sweet milk
3 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour (may need more)
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs and milk.
Sift together dry ingredients and add, making a soft dough.
(Use more flour if necessary.)
Roll thin and bake quickly at 400\u00b0.
