Easy Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large potato, cut in 1-inch squares
    3 celery stalks, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
    1 Tbsp. dried basil
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans vegetable broth
    3 c. water
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can corn
    1 can chopped stewed tomatoes (use liquid as well)
    1 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Put broth, water, potato, celery, carrots, onion and parsley in large pot.
    Bring to boil.
    Add basil, salt and pepper to taste. Medium boil 45 minutes.
    Add beans, corn and can of tomatoes. Simmer another 1 1/2 hours.
