Beef Jerky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soy sauce
    1 tsp. lemon pepper
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. liquid smoke
    2 flank steaks
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together and let stand.
    Cut steaks with the grain into strips, approximately 1/8-inch thick.
    Marinate in mixture for 1 hour.
    Drain the strips and place very, very close together on wire racks, placed on foil lined cookie sheets.
    Dry in slow oven to 160\u00b0 to 170\u00b0 for 12 hours.
    If prepared correctly, jerky can be kept unrefrigerated in an airtight container indefinitely.
