Onion Soup For One - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 oz. margarine, softened
    1 medium onion
    2 c. vegetable stock or chicken stock
    1 bay leaf
    peppercorns
    salt to taste
    2 tsp. white wine
    grated cheese (your choice)
Preparation
    Peel the onion and slice into rings.
    Fry them gently in the margarine, then pour over the vegetable stock.
    Add bay leaf and peppercorns; simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Season to taste with salt and wine.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese of your choice.
