Dean Heaton'S Hominy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (15 oz.) cans hominy, drained
    3 (3 oz.) cans chopped green chilies
    1/2 c. chopped onion, sauteed
    1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 c. shredded cheese
    8 oz. carton sour cream
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    whole green chilies and pimiento slices for garnish
Preparation
    Combine hominy, chilies, sour cream, cheese and onion.
    Mix well.
    Spoon in greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs and extra cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until bubbly.
    Garnish if desired.
    Serve hot.
