Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbeaten egg white
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. flavoring
Preparation
    Put the egg white, sugar and water in the top of a double boiler.
    Place over boiling water and beat with a rotary eggbeater for seven minutes.
    Then add baking powder and flavoring.
    Remove from heat, beat until thick and spread in swirls over cake.
