Mom'S Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels (chunky)
1/2 c. melted oleo
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 medium Cool Whip
1 large pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation

Combine pretzels, oleo and 3 tablespoons sugar in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 8 minutes at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0.
Beat 1 cup sugar and cream cheese.
Stir in Cool Whip and spread on pretzel mixture.
Combine strawberry jello with boiling water.
Add strawberries and let stand 10 minutes, until thickened.
Pour over cheese mixture.
Refrigerate at least one hour.
