No Fail Pie Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
4 egg whites
pinch of salt
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat until thick and clear, stirring constantly (about 1 minute).
Cool.
Beat whites until frothy.
Add a small pinch of salt and continue beating until peaks hold shape.
Fold the cooled, thickening mixture into the egg whites.
Spread over a cooled cream pie, sealing to the edges.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
