Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 extra large egg
    3 c. cake flour
    1/3 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. pecan pieces
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar and egg.
    Set aside; thoroughly sift the flour, salt and baking powder.
    Then add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with milk.
    Add the pecans.
    Blend in vanilla.
    Pour batter into greased loaf pan and let stand 1/2 hour before baking.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
