Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    4 tsp. milk
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Add egg; beat until light and fluffy.
    Stir in milk.
    Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture.
    Divide dough in half. Chill 1 hour or overnight.
    On lightly floured surface, roll to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut in shapes with cookie cutters.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 about 6 to 8 minutes.
    Cool slightly; remove from pan.
    Makes 2 dozen.
