Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unbleached flour
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk (if buttermilk is used, add 1/2 tsp. soda)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together and cut shortening into flour. Add milk to make soft dough.
    Turn out on floured board.
    Knead lightly for 1 minute.
    Roll out, cut out biscuits and place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
