Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. popcorn kernels
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Pop the corn and place in 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans, greased.
In saucepan, heat sugar, syrup, butter and salt until bubbling around the edge.
Heat 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Take off heat and stir in baking soda until thick and foamy.
Pour over popcorn.
Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour, mixing every 15 minutes. Becomes less sticky as it cools.
Clean up is simple.
I sometimes add plain peanuts.
Good also on apples.
Place apples on wax paper after dipping into caramel sauce.
