Pickled Roasted Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large green peppers
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 crumbled bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Bake peppers for 15 to 20 minutes until the skins puff and blister.
    Place in paper bag; close tightly and let stand 15 minutes.
    Remove seeds and stems; cut into strips. Mix well with all remaining ingredients.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
