Curried Rice And Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut up
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3 c. rice, cooked
    1 tsp. curry powder
Preparation
    Take 1 salt cured ham.
    Soak overnight or 24 hours in water; pour water out.
    Wash and trim ham.
    Place ham in lard can with a lid on bottom of can so ham won't stick.
    Cover with water. Gradually raise temperature on burner for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
    Bring to hard boil 1 1/2 hours.
    Take off; place in tub or large container on quilts.
    Cover tightly, using newspaper between tub and quilts.
    Pile a lot of quilts on top or whatever you have, so heat will not escape.
    Let sleep 24 hours.
