English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    corn meal
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups of flour, yeast, salt, sugar and baking soda in a large bowl.
    Heat milk until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add milk to dry mixture; beat well.
    Stir in enough flour to make a stiff batter.
    Spoon into well-greased and corn meal dusted pans. Sprinkle tops with corn meal.
    Cover and let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans at once.
    Cool on racks.
    Slice; toast and enjoy!
