Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening (oleo is best)
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, eggs and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Roll in small balls, then dip in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.
