Apple Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 or 2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 apple, pared and sliced
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients and set aside.
    Mix sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.
    Spread half the batter on well-greased pan, all apples and half the cinnamon/nut mixture.
    Add rest of mixture and put remaining cinnamon mixture on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done when tested.
