Rumaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken livers
    18 water chestnuts
    9 slices bacon, cut in half
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
Preparation
    Cut each liver into 3 pieces; fold each piece around a water chestnut.
    Wrap a piece of bacon around the liver and chestnut and fasten in place with a toothpick.
    Marinate in soy sauce mixed with ginger for 1 hour.
    Place on a rack in a shallow pan and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, or until bacon is browned and crisp.
    Makes 18.
