Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1 box (small) strawberry Jell-O
    2 pt. strawberries, capped and sliced
    dash of salt
    2 ready to bake pie crusts (not deep dish)
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and salt, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and becomes opaque.
    Remove from heat, add Jell-O, mixing well.
    Let cool 5 to 7 minutes.
    Add strawberries, pour into two already baked pie crusts and refrigerate.
    Top with Cool Whip when served.
