Lemon Sherbet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. milk
2 c. sugar
3 lemons, juiced
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cream
rind of lemon (for added flavor)
Preparation

Milk may seem to curdle, but it will work out.
Mix sugar, lemon juice and salt together. Add to milk slowly.
Mix in cream last.
Place in freezer pan and freeze until firm.
Mix together again and allow to freeze solid, 3 to 4 hours.
