Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    round steak, cut in strips
    garlic salt
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 green peppers, sliced
    1 can tomatoes with juice
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 pkg. mushroom beef gravy soup or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. onion soup
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Cut beef into 3 x 1-inch strips; brown in oil in skillet. Transfer to a slow cooker.
    Combine the next 7 ingredients; pour over beef.
    Cover; cook on low for 5 to 6 hours, or until meat is tender.
    Add tomatoes and green peppers; cook on low 1 hour longer.
    Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste; stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened. Serve over noodles or rice.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
