Ingredients

2 1/2 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. Crisco
4 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
about 8 c. flour
Preparation

Bring molasses and Crisco to boil.
When cool, add remaining ingredients.
Mix and refrigerate about 1 hour, roll out.
Cut, then bake.
The less you handle the dough and less flour, the nicer they are.
Sprinkle sugar over before baking.
