Rum Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, rolled fine
    1 c. finely chopped coconut or pecan meat
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1/2 or 1/3 c. rum, brandy or Cointreu
    instant coffee or dry cocoa
Preparation
    Measure all ingredients into a bowl; mix well.
    By teaspoonful shape into balls.
    Roll in confectioners sugar, instant coffee or dry cocoa.
    Store in a tightly covered container.
    Makes 50. Store at least a week to develop the best flavor.
