Chester Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

30 ripe tomatoes
3 green peppers
3 red peppers
6 onions
1 bunch celery
1 qt. vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
5 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
-
Process vegetables.
Sprinkle on salt.
Let stand 1 hour and drain.
Add vinegar and spices; cook until tender.
Put into hot sterile jars or process in hot water bath 10 to 15 minutes and seal.
