Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. butter*
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 to 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans (optional)
