Foolproof Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (6 oz. each) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine chips, salt, condensed milk and vanilla in large microwave-safe bowl.
    Cook on High
    for up to 3 minutes.
    Stir to melt any whole chips.
    Add nuts if desired.
    Spread evenly into wax paper lined 8-inch square pan.
    Chill 2 hours or more.
    Turn onto board; peel off paper.
    Cut in 1-inch squares.
