Ingredients

3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg white, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Mix first 8 ingredients at medium speed.
Shape dough into a ball and refrigerate for 2 hours or more.
Roll dough approximately 1/4-inch apart.
Glaze with egg white and water mixture.
Sprinkle with your choice toppings.
