Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter or oleo, melted (use 1 each)
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter in mixing bowl.
    Stir in cocoa until dissolved. Add sugar and beaten eggs.
    Mix well.
    Sift together flour, salt and soda.
    Add flour mixture to cocoa mixture.
    Mix well and add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and dusted with flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
