Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head chopped lettuce
    1/2 box frozen peas
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 to 4 eggs, boiled and sliced
    Parmesan cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Spread lettuce in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Layer with celery, onion and water chestnuts.
    Spread mayonnaise over top.
    Sprinkle sugar. Sprinkle with Parmesan, peas and crumbled bacon.
    Top with sliced eggs and paprika.
