Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3 well beaten eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 lb. seedless raisins
6 slices candied pineapple
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. pitted dates, chopped
7 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs.
Add flour and milk, flour first and last.
Roll fruit and nuts in flour.
Pour batter over fruit and nuts and mix thoroughly.
Drop by spoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned.
Makes 10 to 12 dozen.
