Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can small or sliced beets
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. beet juice
dash of salt
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Mix
sugar
and
cornstarch;
add
vinegar, beet juice, butter and
salt.
Boil
five minutes or until slightly thickened.
Add beets and let cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 6.
