Apple Pie(Dessert) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. apples (6 to 8 apples)*
1 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 to 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
dash of ground nutmeg
pastry for a double-crust pie
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Peel, core and thinly slice apples.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Combine sugar, flour, spices and dash of salt.
Mix with apples.
Prepare pastry; fill.
Dot with butter.
Adjust top crust; brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
Cover edges with foil.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven 25 minutes.
Remove foil; bake 20 to 25 minutes more.
