Chili And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 green pepper
    2 garlic cloves
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    4 whole cloves
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 c. water
    2 cans chili beans
Preparation
    Brown beef, onion, green pepper and garlic.
    Add tomatoes, salt, spices and water.
    Simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
    Add chili beans the last 20 minutes of cooking time.
    Serves 8 to 10 people.
