Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal
    2/3 c. oil
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    3/4 tsp. hot crushed red pepper
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add oil, meal, soda, buttermilk and all other ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Pour in a hot greased pan and bake like regular corn bread until done.
    Bake 40 minutes at 400\u00b0.
