Mexican Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. cream-style corn
    2/3 c. milk
    4 slices American cheese
    1 pkg. cornbread mix
Preparation
    Brown beef until done.
    Drain well.
    Add onions and jalapeno peppers.
    Set aside.
    Mix eggs, milk and 1 cup corn with cornbread mix.
    Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Pour half of batter into greased 9-inch pan.
    Top with beef mixture, cheese slices and remaining cup of corn.
    Pour remaining half of batter on top of this and bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
