Meringue Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Place egg whites in large mixing bowl. Beat until foamy.
Add cream of tartar and salt.
Beat until soft peaks are formed when beaters are pulled up.
Add sugar a tablespoon at a time.
Beat until smooth and satiny.
Add extract. Mix well.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets covered with brown paper.
Shape into mounds the shape of a small walnut on top.
Bake about 30 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
