Helen'S Cabbage To Freeze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. shredded cabbage
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 bell pepper, cut fine
    2 carrots, cut fine
    1 tsp. celery seed (optional)
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Bring vinegar, water and sugar to boil and cool.
    Mix cabbage and salt.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Drain.
    Add to cabbage the pepper, carrots and celery salt.
    Pour vinegar, sugar mixture over vegetables.
    Mix and let stand one hour.
    Package and freeze.
