1 c. sharp cheese, shredded
2 eggs
2 c. milk
1 Spanish onion
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 small loaf white bread, cut in squares
Preparation

Mince onion and saute in margarine.
Remove crusts from bread and cut in 1-inch squares.
Butter a baking dish and place beaten eggs in milk and pour over the other ingredients.
Bake 1/2 hour or until custard sets.
