Sage Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    12 oz. warm beer (not light beer)
    3 Tbsp. dry rubbed sage
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar and sage.
    Add the beer and mix with a spoon until blended.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out dry.
    Cool on a wire rack.
    Butter can be rubbed on the top while still warm.
