Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 (No. 2) can fruit or 2 c. fresh fruit
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. juice, if canned or 1/2 c. water, if fresh
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Sift dry ingredients and add milk. Beat until smooth.
Pour into 2-quart casserole.
Mix fruit, sugar and juice.
Pour over top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, until light brown on top.
